"We strive to give hope to orphaned children while they wait for adoption
and to provide support to the orphanages. I know that we can't totally give
them the experience of wealth in which we live with daily, but a gesture
of love may give them a moment of hope; a moment away from their sadness
makes their stay in the orphanage seemed shorter."
-Founder Fernando Kuehnel
The House of Kabataan has been established to provide financial, material, and volunteer assistance
to orphanages around the world. We encourage adoption through existing
placement agencies. Our primary funding is through philanthropic
donations by individuals and corporations.
Vision of The House of Kabataan
Enhancing the quality of life of orphaned children is our mission.
Mission Statement of The House of Kabataan
To
make a positive difference in the lives of orphaned children and enhance
their quality of life by:
-
Providing food
-
Improving their
shelter
-
Providing
medical assistance
-
Enhancing
educational opportunities
-
Creating recreational activities
The
House of Kabataan will respond to the children of orphanages regardless of
race, religion, national origin or social position. We will cooperate with
individuals and other organizations from all cultural, religious and ethnic
backgrounds in our efforts to bring joy and hope to orphan children. We
invite the cooperation and assistance from our friends, neighbors,
businesses and organizations to help the orphanages.
What children become in the future is dependent on what children learn
today. Thus, we will work to provide improved living conditions, education
opportunities, and resources needed to help orphaned children develop
mentally, physically and spiritually in those values that assure a
successful and happy life.
